BRGY. LINDONGAN, MUNAI RECEIVES AID FROM THE 4TH MECHANIZED INFANTRY BATTALION

Residents of Barangay Lindongan in the Municipality of Munai, headed by Mayor Racma Andamama, thanked the 4th Mechanized Infantry (KALASAG) Battalion for conducting community outreach to the people heavily affected due to the series of unforeseen encounters between the Government and DI-Maute group that transpired at the tri-boundaries of Munai, Tangcal, and Madulum.

The unit distributed food packs, gift packs, toys, candies, and facemask to a total of one hundred eighty (180) adults and twenty-eight (28). The unit also conducted a feeding activity and a magic show to make the residents, especially children, bring comfort and happiness to the people, even in a simple way.

Lindongan is one of the far-flung barangay of Munai, Lanao del Norte, wherein goods and essential services are limited and are areas where conflict usually transpires.

Mayor Andamama is grateful to the KALASAG Battalion for partnering with the LGU in giving service to the constituents and in protecting the people, and she also hoped that all the kindness that they have provided would return to them. (Office of the Municipal Mayor - Munai)
